For those of you who're fans of Kevin Smith, and his weekly podcast "Smodcast", this is an entry into the viewaskew thread for fan art relating to Smodcast. My entry is from an older Smodcast (or Schwalcast) in which Kev and Mos go back in time so that Kev can hit on high school Jen.

Dr. Sketchy's Burlesque Life Drawing!

Last November, my brother Jordan and I went to a "Drink and Draw"-type event where you go draw burlesque dancers as the life models. The model was "The Chocolate Glamazon", Sydni Devereaux. She was cool. And fun to draw.

As it turned out, she voted my drawing 'Best of the Night'. That was pretty cool.

Oil portraits

In September, I took my first oil painting workshop with Henry Stinson. We painted 2 portraits per day. These are a couple of the ones that I thought came out OK... It was fun and very informative. I wish I'd gotten better photos, this was the best I could do at the time...
